I have another layout for you all from my Scrapbooking Clubs. They got to make this one in March and it showcased the Sale-A-Bration items. I wanted them to see them before they were gone!!

This layout uses the Everyday Enchantment DSP, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait & Lucky Limeade Card Stock, Scallop Edge, Modern Label, Blossom & 1 1/4" Circle Punches, Fresh Vintage Stamp Set, Very Vanilla 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and my Big Shot with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die & Alphabet Simple Numbers Bigz Die.

For this layout I simply used the age of Kaitlyn for the title. Sometimes the simple titles are a-okay!!

Love how I layered the Blossom Punch flower? Simply punch out three Modern Label punches and layer them criss-cross style. This is a trick I found on Dawn Olchefske's Blog. Thanks Dawn!!

Have a great day!!

Cherish the Moments

Trying to get caught up AND getting ready to leave tomorrow for Disney. We are so excited to be able to spend a week at Disney with the kids and with Stampin' Up! Let the fun begin!!!

But first I want to show you all a layout my Scrapbooking Clubs did in March. I love to use our Designer Series Paper in unexpected ways......

This DSP does not scream baby but I used it anyway and I LOVED how this layout turned out!! Can you believe those are pictures of my now 15 year old daughter, Kaitlyn? This is her first bath and let me tell you I HATE film pictures!! These were the only good ones I had from her first bath. Back then in the film age of picture taking you didn't take hundreds of one event because it was too costly. Now with the digital age you can because you have the awesome button called DELETE!!

This layout features Pocketful of Posies DSP, Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade & Whisper White Card Stock, Baby Prints Stamp Set and my Big Shot with the 3" Circle Originals Die.

Pretty easy and simple layout!! Love that about Scrapbooking!!

Have you Scrapbooked lately?

Have a great day!!

Up To 70% OFF!!

Get them before they are gone! The retired Accessories and Definitely Decorative (including Décor Elements) lists are now available and won't stay around for long--these items are only available while supplies last! AND most items are discounted and some up to 70% off!!

When you look at the retired accessories list, you'll note that all of our Stampin' Pads are listed. This is for two reasons:
 (1) Craft Stampin' Pads will now only be available in black and white; and
(2) we are introducing a new Firm Foam pad in our Classic Stampin' Pads with the 2012-2013 annual catalog.

The Firm Foam pads offer better ink coverage and, in turn, better stamped images. We know you're going to love these new Stampin' Pads-just look at all the exciting benefits listed below:
  • Provide better ink coverage for your stamps!
  • Light-tap stamping produces flawless images!
  • Pad stays juicier for longer resulting in better ink pad longevity!
In addition, our new Stampin' Pads
  • Have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!
  • Come with color name labels in all four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German)-just choose your language, peel it off the back, and add it to the side of the pad for easy identification!
  • Use the same patented flip-top case design that stores the inking surface upside down, so the pad surface stays moist!
  • Are available in all colors, including our exclusive In Colors!
Either contact me today to place your order for your favorites or go HERE and place your order yourself. Remember there are up to 70% off some retiring accessories and you do earn Hostess Benefits on any order that qualifies!!

Wall Art

One of my customers had this frame that comes with four plexiglass inserts that she wanted me to decorate for her. She didn't care how I decorated them except that she wanted them different so she can interchange them. This is what I came up with using our Decor Elements and some other accessories.

This first one uses one of the words from the Inspiration set in Chocolate, size medium and the Wildflower in White. I also added some Daffodil Delight 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon and one of the Summer Smooches Fabric Brads.

This one uses a retired Decor Element. Thought it would be perfect for Fall.

This one is my favorite!! I used the Holiday Damask Decor Element that was available in the last Holiday Mini and another word from the Inspiration set. I decorated it with some retired Real Red Dotted Ribbon and a Heart Brad.

And the last one is for the Christmas Holiday. I used the Letters to Santa in both Old Olive and Real Red with some retired ribbon and Real Red Glitter Brads.

So what do you think? My customer just LOVED them!!

Here is a little secret, Stampin' Up! will be retiring the whole Decor Elements line starting April 25th. This makes me kind of sad because I do like creating with these pieces!! Make sure to order the ones you love before they are gone and since these will be on the Retiring Accessories List they will be a first come first serve basis.

Have a great day!!

Card Class Cards

A while back I told you all that I had started a Card Class for beginners. I started this class at a request of my mother-in-law. She is new to card making so I designed a class for those that are interested in card making but do not have much experience or many supplies at home.

So far the class is big a huge hit and I now have ladies on a waiting list to get into this class or even another class if I begin one. The ladies that come get to make 2 cards each of 4 designs and they get the matching envelopes too.

The ladies love this class and just love stamping extras on their envelopes. I highly recommend anyone wanting to do classes to offer your customers the matching envelopes.

This set of cards was done at Card Class and they got to make one in pink and one in blue. Showed them how they can just change the color and get two different looks. I used Crumb Cake, Subtles Collection Patterns DSP Stack, Modern Label, Word Window & 5-Petal Flower Punches, Teeny Tiny Wishes & Fresh Vintage Stamp Sets and Glitter Brads.

Both the above design and the design below were inspired by cards I found on Pinterest. Let me tell you all, this site has made my crafting so much easier and faster!! With me working full time, 3 kids that are involved in after school activities, a husband that coaches and plays his own sport and my Stampin' Up! career that involves 4 Scrapbooking Clubs, a Card Class, Workshops and a growing team I need all the help I can get!! That is what Pinterest has done for me. I can collect all kinds of ideas, place them on to their own board and recall them at anytime. I just love that!!! If you have not yet tried out this site I highly encourage you too!!

This is another card I created for my Card Class ladies to make. They got to make 2 of this design. I used Sahara Sand, Bravo Burgundy & Whisper White Card Stock, Regals Collection Patterns DSP Stack, 5/8" Victoria Crochet Trim, Basic Rhinestones, Scallop Trim Board, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle & 1 3/8" Circle Punches and the Sprinkled Expressions Stamp Set.

This card would be great to use for upcoming Graduations. You could recreate this card using the school colors and you would be set.

Have a great day!!
