Your teapot is adorable!! And it's filled with my favorite candy - M&M's!! I love the bright colors and ribbon that you used. Just darling!

Congrats Jayne!!!! I am forwarding her information onto Melanie so she can send you the link to the FREE issue!! Enjoy!!

Now while you are here I have something to share with all of you!! This is a recent project I created using My Digital Studio. A friend of mine had a wedding to go to and we were brainstorming ideas. I started showing her my Subway Art I have created using My Digital Studio and we decided to make one for the wedding using the couples engagement picture.

What do you think? Like how it turned out? My friend just LOVED it!! She told me she was showing it off at the wedding and everyone told her they loved it too. Lets just hope the lucky couple likes it as much.

I scanned the picture she gave me, opened a new 8 1/2" x 11" layout project in My Digital Studio, added a photo box as big as the layout and inserted the picture. I changed it to black and white and then started layering sayings from different stamp sets on top of the picture in white. My Digital Studio has a cool feature that lets you search for words or images that are related to the word you search. Way awesome!!! I also added a couple custom words too, like their name.

I printed this at home onto Whisper White Card Stock. When printing it I changed my printers settings to 1/2" inch boarder so that is why it did not print edge to edge. I inserted it into this frame I picked up at Wal-Mart. I call these the floating frames!!

If you are curious about My Digital Studio you can try it anytime for FREE. Stampin' Up! lets you download the My Digital Studio Express anytime for a 30 day FREE trial. Just remember that if you like that version you will just LOVE the full version!!! The full version is loaded with over $500 worth of content!! Go HERE if you are interested in downloading it now for FREE.

Have a great day!!

Hello

Don't you just love it when you find lovelies in the blog world? Makes creating so much easier!! I found THIS card on Dawn Olchefske's Blog and knew instantly that I wanted to CASE it!!

The only things I changed were the colors and the greeting. This card is super gorgeous and easy to put together. I used it for a recent make'n take at a workshop I had earlier this month. Everyone loved it!!

I used the Color Coach to come up with my color combo of Blushing Bride, Early Espresso & Pear Pizzazz. I also used Whisper White. On Dawn's blog post she had a video showing how she created this layered flower using the Blossom & Modern Label Punches. If you can't figure it out by my picture, head on over to her blog and watch her video. It is such a WOW!!

I also used the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Sets called Fresh Vintage & Elementary Elegance. You can still get these for FREE until the end of the month!! Let me know if you are interested in getting these or others for FREE!!

The remaining products I used are the In Color 2010-2012 Glimmer Brads, 1 3/8" Circle Punch and my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

So what do you think? Easy enough but gorgeous? I love hearing what you think!!

Don't forget, I have Blog Candy still available on this POST until Friday evening. Make sure to add your comment to that post so you are in the drawing for a FREE issue of the March Paper Crafters Sampler.

Have a great day!!

PCS High Tea Blog Hop

*NOTE – High Tea blog hop officially starts March 28th so if you’re here a little early, be sure to come back and see all of the projects the PCS design team has created for you.

Welcome to the Paper Crafters Sampler “High Tea” blog hop featuring our 3D teapot template from the March issue of the Paper Crafters Sampler entitled, “Orange Blossom Tearoom”.

With the current trend of tea images in the paper crafting world, it only seemed appropriate to offer a tea-related template, and that is our newest “High Tea” 3D, teapot.

What do you think of my teapot I’ve created ……….

This template was a little intimidating at first glance but as I got started I found myself enjoying it. I decided to give my teapot a more of a "fun" feel and fill it with candies. Yep, this teapot is designed to hold something except tea of course.

I used Sweet Shop Specialty DSP, Whisper White Card Stock, Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Sweet Shop Jelly Bean Brads, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and Flirtatious Designer Fabric.

I filled the teapot with mini m&m's. How fun is this!!??!!

I hope you liked my teapot!! Leave me a comment here on this post by Friday, March 30th and you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE copy of this months Paper Crafters Sample which includes 8 fabulous projects and this adorable template so you can make your very own teapot.

Now feel free to go back and take another loot at Vickie's teapot images or select the “Click Here” button below and hop on over to Regina's blog.

Have a great day!!!

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #248

If you follow me on Facebook or read this POST you may know that my dad went under heart bypass surgery this past Wednesday. He actually had 6 bypasses done and is doing extremely well, amazing his doctor, nurses and us, his family. He has been up walking around when the nurses ask him to, doing his breathing/lung exercises and has not complained much about his pain. We are so proud of him and love him so much!! AND I want to wish my dad a:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Now for the post about the new sketch challenge over at Stamping 411. I actually used this sketch to make this card for my sister whose birthday is this Sunday. I know she doesn't read my blog so I am safe posting it early.

I used the Sweet Shop Specialty DSP, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder & Whisper White Card Stock, Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Large Pearl Basic Jewels, Decorative Label Punch, Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and my Big Shot with the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die.

I used lots of different patterns from this DSP pack. Makes for a great focal area!!

Now head on over to the Stamping 411 Blog to check out the other Operator's to see what they did with this same sketch. I am sure you will love them!!

Have a great day!!!

You make my whole face SMILE

Do you need a very very easy project to make for gift giving? These pouches called Diaper Fold Pouch, are so much fun to make and your kiddos can even help with these too!!

These pouches are even a HUGE WOW at workshops too!! They get everyone's attention, even the ones that don't think they can do anything crafty. They are just amazed that you can make these with just one sheet of Designer Series Paper or Card Stock and with no glue or scissors.

I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP, Lucky Limeade & Whisper White Card Stock, Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack, Small & Large Tag Punches, Sprinkled Expressions Stamp Set and 3" x 5" Cellophane Bag.

Fill with any kind of candy you like and you have the perfect little thank you gift or anything you like.

Have a great day!!

Flowers For My Mom

I thought I would share this card with all of you today since it fits with the horrible news I received this morning. My dad went into the hospital this morning for a Heart Catheterization to check for blockage and they thought they might have to put a stent or two in. After starting the procedure they immediately terminated because they saw that there was blockage way worse then they had suspected. They are sending him up to Indianapolis today to have Heart Bypass Surgery. They do not know the exact number yet but think he might need a Triple Heart Bypass. Please send lots of prayers for my dad and our whole family!! We are thanking God that they found this before he actually had a heart attack, he was just having a little chest pain and had some testing done that he failed.
I made this card last week for my team card swap we do once a month. The theme was to make a shaped card and I made this flower pot card. Hence the flowers for my mom and I am sure she could use some right about now!!

If you just Google Flower Pot Card you will find lots of tutorials on how to make one of these. They are so super easy!!

For my card I used lots of sneak peak items that will be in the upcoming Stampin' Up! Catalog that is due to come out June 1st but will be available to everyone April 1st. So exciting when Stampin' Up! releases new beautiful items early!! And these items make me want Summer to be sooner then later!!

I used the Summer Smooches DSP (NEW), Chocolate Chip Textured Card Stock, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Real Red & Island Indigo Card Stock, Daffodil Delight 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon (NEW), Summer Smooches Fabric Designer Brads (NEW), Delightful Dozen Stamp Set and Blossom, Scallop Border & Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punches.

Let me know if you are interested in placing an order for any of these new products come April 1st!! They are soooooo yummy and you will just love them!!

Have a great day today and make sure you hug those close to you!!
