I held a VersaMarker Class in April and this is one of the projects they got to make. I wanted to show them all the different kinds of things they could do with this tool (and then Stampin' Up! goes and retires it!! LOL!!)
I found this technique/idea HERE and fell in love with it!! It is called the Shadow Technique. All you do is take your VersaMarker and outline a stamped image. Very easy but very striking!!
This card uses Basic Grey, Whisper White & Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Bring on the Cake & Mixed Bunch Stamp Sets, Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, VersaMarker, and 1" Circle & Blossom Punches.
I just love layering several of these flowers. Make it look 3 dimensional.
Everyone in class just LOVED this card!! Turned out beautiful!!
Have a great day!!

this is gorgeous!! I love the outline technique with the marker--I hate it that SU retired it, too. Love this card, and will be CASEing it.
This is so cool! I've seen people do something similar with different colors, but the versamark would always be the perfect color! Love it!
