If you are a regular blog reader of my blog for the last year you will remember that one year ago yesterday, Memorial Day, our precious baby girl, Jordan, was involved in a horrible accident that could have ended really badly. Here is a LINK to the first post about Jordan and her horrible accident.
We could not be any luckier and thank God along with Dr Foley each and everyday since Jordan's accident!! It has now been a year and she is doing just perfect!!
We went to see Dr Foley in April because Jordan had developed a muffled cough. He wanted to check it out and since we were leaving for a week long Cruise to Alaska he decided he wanted to scope her again just to "make sure" everything with his repair and her lungs were doing good. His office staff scheduled the procedure for May 13th which was Friday the 13th. Jordan was not too happy with that date until Dr Foley came into the office and said that that was his birthday!! After that she was perfectly fine and even said after we left his office that she wanted to get him something for his birthday.
I also wanted to give/make him something just to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for the miracle he gave us!! And I knew just what I wanted to make for him!! I remembered that I had taken a sweet picture of him with Jordan on the day he released her from the hospital last year and I wanted to give him a copy of it.
Before printing the picture I added their names and the date and printed it out. I used one of my 4x6 frames and decorated it up with lots and lots of love and thanks. You will see some retired products used here but I also used the brand new Pretty Postage Stamp Set, Postage Stamp Punch, Black Crystal Simply Adorned Bauble and a Trinket Crown.
I also made him a Scrub Top Card just like the one I made HERE for my dad's birthday last year. We gave him this little gift bundle right before Jordan's procedure and he was so touched that he even teared up!! That is how special of a doctor this guy is!!!! We just love him!!!!
