Are you ready for our very last Sketch Challenge of the year from the Stamping 411 Blog?? I hate seeing a year come to an end but then again it is exciting to think what the new year might hold for us!!! I do know that this past year was a very hard one for my family and we are so very grateful to get to see and hold Jordan in our arms each and everyday!! Please know that I am also grateful to have Kaitlyn, Griffen and my husband Jon in my life too!!! We are a very blessed family and I thank God each and everyday!!

Now for our new sketch, my take on this sketch and of course my winner of my Holiday Blog Candy!!

My card today is showcasing lots of brand new goodies that will be in the brand new Occasions Mini that starts on January 4, 2011. Stampin' Up! never seems to disappoint!!! This mini is chalk full of awesomeness!!!!

I just love all the brand new accessories that are in this mini!!! AND the best part it they all coordinate with everything!!! Gotta love that!!!

Merry Frame

Here is the last of my Craft Fair items I had on hand to sale. This is a very simple and easy frame to put together. And the best part is that I used up some retired items that matched the Decor Element.

I am so happy that we now have all the different designs in our Decor Elements line!! Makes gift giving really easy and affordable!! This frame was put together with the Merry Trees Decor Elements in Old Olive size small, Clear Tinsel Trim, an Old Olive Designer Button, Bashful Blue Double Stitched 1" Grosgrain Ribbon and a piece of retired Christmas DSP (sorry, forgot the name??). I just used a black frame I had picked up somewhere.

Do you love this Tinsel Trim we are carrying in the Holiday Mini?? I have gone through so many spools of both the Clear and Silver!! I better stock up on some for next year just in case!!

Have a great day!

Is This Another Candy Jar?

or is it? This actually can be a candy jar or you can even put a candle it in. Or better yet leave it the way it is for a festive holiday decoration.

This jar uses some of the ornaments from the Candy Cane Christmas Decor Elements in both Real Red & Old Olive, Natural Hemp Twine, Real Red Big Designer Button and some now retired Real Read Double Stitched 1" Grosgrain Ribbon.

Have you tired of my Candy Jars yet? No worries if you have because this is the last one I will be sharing with all of you because actually it is the last one I created for the Craft Fair I was just involved in. I have one more item to share with all of you tomorrow and then I will be sharing a brand new hand stamped item on Friday using the brand new Stamping 411 Sketch. I will also be announcing the winner of my Holiday Blog Candy on Friday so make sure you have left me a comment on my blog post HERE to be in the running for all my goodies I am giving away!!

Have a great day!!

A Bigger Candy Jar

Here is another item I made up for the recent Craft Fair I was involved in. This one is the same jar I showed you HERE but bigger. Hence bigger--more candy!!!

I just LOVE decorating with our Decor Elements!! Makes making up gift items so much easier and fun!! On this jar I used the Jingle All the Way Decor Elements in Real Red size small, Real Red 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Natural Twine and a Candy Cane Big Designer Button.

I use a hot glue gun to adhere my buttons to the outside of these jars. These jars come together rather fast and make great gifts at Christmas time when they are filled with your favorite chocolate!!

Have a great day!!

Mini Candy Jar

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! I know it is hard to get back to the real world!!

For the rest of this week I am going to share with all of you some of the things I made for the recent Craft Fair I was involved in. I thought you all would like to see close ups of some of the items I created to sell. I will be back later this week with a brand new Stamping 411 card and my winner of my Holiday Blog Candy. Then I will be back to showing you all brand new creations using all the new yummy stuff out of the Occasions Mini. Can't wait to start playing with all of it!!!

This jar is just too cute!! I picked this jar up at Wal-Mart and using two of the Ornaments from the Candy Cane Christmas Decor Elements out of the Holiday Mini in Real Red and Old Olive I also used the Real Red 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Natural Hemp Twine and a Real Red Candy Cane Big Designer Button.

You can fill this jar full of your favorite snack candy and display it where ever you gather in your house or give it as a gift to someone. Very easy to put to together too!!

Have a great day

Cute Stocking Stuffers

Need any ideas for some stocking stuffers? Here is a very cute, inexpensive and fast goody box that anyone would love to have in their stocking on Christmas morning!!

I hold a monthly meeting with my downline and each of us take turns teaching a make'n take. In October Shelly Raines brought all the supplies and taught us how to make these cute little hand santizer mini gifts for Halloween. We had so much fun making these that I decided to pick up some more of the mini hand santizers in Christmas scents and make these for stocking stuffers. I think they turned out too stinkin' cute!!!

I used some Ruby Red Card Stock, the stamp sets called Northern Hearts & Jolly Bingo Bits, Clear & Silver Tinsel Trim and Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle, 1" Circle & Large Oval Punches.

I even had some of these at my last Craft Fair and they sold pretty well!! I sold them for $3 a piece. Let me know if you want any as I have several left over (since I made up about 100 of them!!!!).

Have a great day!!

Christmas House

Is this not the cutest thing ever??!! I just LOVE our Design-a-House Decor Accents that is in the Holiday Mini!! This was so much fun to create and I am thinking of stocking up on this kit to make a house for each season. What do you think?

I saw a similar designed house on Stampin' Connection, a website for just Stampin' Up! Demonstrators where we can share projects and talk shop, and new right away that that was how I was going to design my house. I loved the idea of using the house as it came, white.

I also used Basic Black, Whisper White, Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Scallop Border, Word Window & 1" Circle Punches, Vellum Card Stock, Clear Tinsel Trim, Silver Glass Glitter, Sticky Sheets and my Big Shot with the Birds & Blooms Sizzlits 4-Pack Die & Beary Girl Sizzlits Die.

This door knob even comes with the kit!! Too cute!!

To do the roof I first traced the roof onto the Sticky Sheets and cut them out. I applied the Sticky Sheets to the roof and then using our Silver Glass Glitter and the large Powder Pal I dumped the whole jar out and just kept pressing the sticky roof in the glass glitter until it was covered. Very easy and fun!!

Let me know what you think of my house and hopefully I will have a Valentine's House for all of you in February (this is if my busy schedule calms down after the first of the year!!).

Have a great day!!

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #182

Sorry that I have not been sharing much of my creations lately. I am sure you all can completely relate!! This time of year can really get crazy!!

I am here to share with all of you my card I did for the Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge. I hope you all will be very kind because things that appear in your mind sometimes don't come out right when you are creating!!

When I first saw this sketch I thought it looked like a fun one!! And as I kept looking at it the first thing that popped into my head was a hanging wreath. So that is where I went with it.

I am not sure if I like how it turned out or not. Hey, we can't win them all now can we?? With my tight schedule I did not have time to rework it so this is what I am sharing. Please let me know what you think!!

I used the Jolly Holiday DSP, Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, the stamp sets called Growing Green & Bright Christmas, Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz and the Big Shot with the Buttons #5 Sizzlits Die.

Just look at that shimmer? I love that stuff and hope we get lots more different colors!!

Make sure you head on over to the Stamping 411 Blog and check out what the other Operators did with this same sketch. I am sure they did not disappoint!!

Have a great day!!
