Better Late...

then never is how the saying goes right? Since we were in the hospital with Jordan we missed a couple of Graduation Parties. I didn't even have their cards done yet so this week I have been trying to get them done and in the mail.

Here is another card I did where I used part of her invitation. Just can't see myself throwing these beautiful invitations and pictures away!!

I used our school colors for this card since they matched the picture so well. I am so unhappy that these two colors are now on the Last Chance List!! Believe me when I say I stocked up on them before they were sold out!! Make sure you check out ALL three of the Last Chance Lists today because tomorrow Stampin' Up! unveils the brand new catalog!!

For this card I used Brilliant Blue, Going Gray and Whisper White Card Stock, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Medium Jewelry Punch, the stamp set called Go, Graduate and my Big Shot with the SU Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I just love using this punch with safety pins!!!

So how do you like the banner I added to the card? I think it turned out too cute!! I hope the Graduate likes her card??!! AND better late then never, right?

Have a great day!!

A MDS Share

I was playing around with my My Digital Studio last night to see if I could wake my Mojo up a little more and came up with this layout. So what do you think? I like how it turned out and Jordan really liked it (I guess that is the only thing that matters, right??).

This layout uses the Sweet Pea DSP, some ribbon, stitching and buttons. I love how I did the title and my new found FREE fonts that I have downloaded to my computer (thanks Beth!!). They are perfect for scrap booking!! You can find them on the website called Kevin and Amanda. The have tons of them and will even do your own handwriting!!

Have a great day!!

A Birthday Gift And A Challenge

I have been trying to stamp all weekend long (when I got a moment) and nothing, I mean NOTHING, was working for me!!! So off to check out lots of blogs and sketch sites I went to see if I could get some inspiration flowing. I ran across this sketch site called "i {heart} 2 stamp" and thought I would try out her sketch. Well let me tell you it worked and I am so super excited!!!!! Just check out my card!!!

My daughter, Jordan, needed a birthday gift for her BFF. This was the first time Jordan got to go somewhere without her dad or I and let me tell you it was kind of hard!! She did great and I totally trust the mom in charge so all was good AND Jordan didn't want to leave!!

Jordan and I found this too cute photo album at K-Mart one day while we were looking for something for her dad for Father's Day. It was already decorated so all I did was add the Pink Pirouette 1 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon with a Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Button and then put a picture of Jordan with her BFF, Presley, in the photo opening.

I just LOVE how this card turned out!!! Don't you?? I wanted to use this stamp set called Wanted because Presley just loves horses and I also wanted to showcase it one more time before it retires this week. I also used Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette & Whisper White Card Stock, Small Star, Large Star & Scallop Trim Border Punch, Pink Pirouette 1 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button, Nature Twine, Bitty Birthday stamp set and my Big Shot with the Texture Plates Kit #4.

I just love doing these sideways bows!! Too yummy!!

Don't you just love the look of this horse running across the card? This is done with one horse stamp inked up in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, stamped on the right of the Card Stock and then you just keep stamping the image each time moving to the left. I then used a piece of Chocolate Chip Card Stock with a torn edge on top as the ground the horse is running on.

I hope you liked and hopefully my mojo is back!!! Have a great day!!

A Year In Review Layout

Here is another layout we did this month at Scrapbooking Club. I started in January of this year with a monthly layout so by the end of this year we will have a "Year In Review" worth of layouts. These layouts feature random pictures of my kids from 2007, usually feature one color and the Patterns DSP.
For this June Layout I used Perfect Plum Patterns DSP, Perfect Plum Card Stock, Photo Corners, 1" Circle & 1 3/4" Circle Punches, the stamp set called True Friend, the Taffy Alphabet & Number sets, Rhinestone Brads and my Big Shot with the SU Top Note Die.

This is a great stamp set and I will be sad to see it retire!!

This Top Note Die is just awesome to use for any kind of titles or journaling you want to put on a layout.

This layout is pretty simple and this was my intent when coming up with the idea of doing a year in review worth of layouts.
Have a great day!!

You're Perfect Layout

Here is another layout we did this month in my Scrapbooking Clubs. I wanted to showcase all retiring products so they could get some of them before they were gone. Remember you have until June 30th to get your favorites before they are gone forever!!!

This layout uses Nouveau Chic DSP, Apricot Appeal, Sage Shadow & Basic Gray Card Stock, an assortment of Colored Buttons, Scallop Border Punch and my Big Shot with the Decorative Accent #2 Bigz Die & Go Go Boots Alphabet Medium Sizzlits Dies. There is only three things on this layout that are not retiring and those are Basic Gray Card Stock, Scallop Border Punch & Go Go Boots Alphabet.

Do you see those stars, circles and hearts on the DSP? That was the technique I taught this month. How to make your own embossing plates out of our Thick Window Sheets and different shapes you want. After running it through our Big Shot we took our Sanding Block and lightly sanded the DSP so the image would "pop" on the page. Pretty cool right?? That is an added bonus for all club members each month, they get to learn one technique each month on one of their layouts they get to do. This shows scrapbookers that they can use techniques too.

I really like this Decorative Accent piece that I used here on this layout. To tell you the truth I had not used it yet so when Stampin' Up! announced that it was retiring I thought I better try it out!! Looks pretty cool on this layout especially with this DSP!!

Well I hope I have inspired some of you to get scrapbooking and also to use up some of your retiring products (or better yet ordering some of this retiring product before it is gone!!).

Have a great day!!

For this months Scrapbooking Clubs I decided to showcase all retiring products so we could send some of my favorites out in style!! For this layout I will be sad to see this stamp set go!!! It is one of my favorites to scrapbook with and if it is one of yours you have until the end of this month to get it before it is gone forever!! AND if you are on my newsletter mailing list you have until the 29th to take advantage of a very special offer I am offering on all retiring stamp sets!!

This layout uses the Pawsitively Prints DSP, Ballet Blue & So Saffron Card Stock, Twill Tape, Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set, Whisper White Basic Jumbo Grommets, 1/2" Circle Punch and my Big Shot with the Flowers Layers #3 Originals Die.

I love adding these Grommets to different things to dress up any layout!! Sad to see these retire too!!

These flowers are so much fun too and I am sad to see this die retire too along with this Twill Tape!!! Lots and lots of great stuff will be gone by the end of this month!!

As you can see I used lots and lots of retiring stuff on this one layout and I am sad to see all of it go!!! If you have any questions about anything retiring or about my special offer for retiring stamp sets just email me anytime!!

A Father's Day Album

Are you all enjoying your Sunday? I am sure everyone is celebrating Father's Day and we will be too in a little while. But before we leave for our cook out at my father-in-law's I wanted to share something I made for my husband for Father's Day. It actually is serving as his card AND a keepsake.
I made him an Envelope Photo Album out of our Kraft Envelopes and To The Nine Specialty DSP. I got this idea from Dawn Olchefske. She shared several of her mini albums with us at Founder's Circle last September and ever since I have wanted to try my hand at this envelope one she did. I just love how it turned out too!!!!
I also used Sage Shadow & Chocolate Chip Card Stock, Chocolate Chip 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Flower Designer Brads, Wide Oval, 3/4" Circle, 1" Circle & Round Tab Punches, the stamp set called Totally Tabs and my Big Shot with the Serif Essentials Alphabet Bigz Dies.

How cool is this?? In each pocket I put a picture of each of the kids and then each of them wrote their dad a letter that we put behind the picture. I know he will just love this!!!

I used recent pictures I had taken around Easter time.

I just love these Designer Brads!!! These and the Stars are retiring at the end of this month so make sure you stock up on them before they are gone!!! I know I will be!!!!

So what did you make for your dad, husband or special person in your life?? I also made one of these albums for my dad and my husbands dad but made it into a Grand Dad Album the we are giving to them from their grand kids.
Have a great day!!!

Looky, I Stamped!!

I finally took a little time today to visit my craft room, open my new catalog preview order and actually ink up a stamp. It has been a long time coming!! Almost three weeks since I actually stamped something and it really felt awesome!!! Jordan has been home since Monday night and today was the very first day she went the whole day without a fever and actually felt better. Poor little girl has been through so much lately (as we have too) and still has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We are still receiving so many well wishes and prayers from everyone and I just want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for everything!! We truly are a blessed family!!
Now on to my stamping I did today because I know you all are just as excited as me to see something brand new and cheerful on this blog of mine!! Today I am sharing a three in one card with all of you. This card uses the UDI Sketch Challenge #88 for today, fits my Stampin' Up! Downline Swap Theme of Wedding and we are going to a wedding today so I needed a card. Love it when you can get lots done with just one card!!
I also got to play with some brand new product that will be coming available July 1st in the brand new Stampin' Up! Catalog and let me tell you you will NOT want to miss this catalog!!! It is chalked full of awesome awesome awesome brand new product!!!!
I used a brand new In Color called Poppy Parade for my Card Stock, Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Bitty Buttons, Itty Bitty Shapes & Word Window Punches, Teeny Tiny Wishes & Because I Care Stamp Sets, Markers in Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango & Poppy Parade and my Big Shot with the SU Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folders.

I colored my stamp first with Wild Wasabi for the stem and leaves then I colored the whole flower with Daffodil Delight. Then I took Tangerine Tango and Poppy Parade and randomly colored on the flower. I think it turned out pretty cool!!!

These little Bitty Buttons are just so much fun!! I used the matching punch to punch card stock out in Poppy Parade then adhered it to the underside of the button.

Since this is for the UDI Saturday Sketch Challenge the whole Design Team is hooked up so you can view each of our blogs to see what we each did with this weeks sketch. Hop on over to Carol's Blog to see what she did and then keep going until you end up back here. This way you can view the whole Design Team and hopefully get some great inspiration for yourself!!

Have a great day and hopefully I will be back with lots more creations!!!
