PCS May Sampler Blog Hop

The Design Team for Paper Crafters Sampler has another Blog Hop for all of you to showcase an exclusive Pyramid Box Template that is included in this May Issue of PCS called Together Forever. As you can tell from the name it is an issue dedicated to weddings. This issue is chalked full of awesome wedding ideas from your invitations to decorations. You will not be disappointed with this issue!!! If you want more information on how to sign up go HERE and if you decide to sign up make sure you use my promotional code of PCSTB.

Now onto our Blog Hop!!!

Could you just see these hanging around the church or at a wedding reception? This box was too much fun to make and comes together really fast!!

This box was made using our Bride Specialty DSP, Extra Large Flower Punch, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Cardstock Vellum and the Pretties Kit.

Just look at that lacey ribbon!!! All I did was take the Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, pulled out one of the strings in the middle and kept pulling. This gathers the ribbon but you have to be extra careful doing this because the thread is very thin and will break on you.

AND how do you like these flowers??I love them!!! Again I always punch out three of them, two with the Bride DSP and one with the Cardstock Vellum, crumple them up and adhere together. Top them off with a half-back pearl from the Pretties Kit and you are all set!!!

Just look at what is hanging out the bottom of this box!!! More pretties from the Pretties Kit!!!

I am also sharing with all of you a "Sneak Peak" at my project I made for the May Sampler. I hope lots of you will check out this SITE for more information about our samplers and if you decide to subscribe make sure you use my promotional code of PCSTB.

Now hop on over to Lisa Hensley's Blog to check out her creation using this exclusive template. Make sure to keep hopping to check out the entire Design Team!!

Summer Mini Swap

I am still out to sea cruising right along with Stampin' Up! and having the time of my life!!! I want to thank you all for stopping by to check in on me and don't forget about my blog candy I have going on right now!! Make sure you are spreading the news and keeping those comments coming!!!

I was asked to join an organized swap last month and the theme was the new Summer Mini that will be going live on May 1st!!! This organized swap works a little differently then most since you have to send in your top three stamp set picks and then once the group hostesses has everyones picks she then assigns each person a stamp set to work with. I really like how this swap is ran meaning that you will be receiving back a sample of most stamp sets in the mini. Most times you join a swap and the same stamp set is used over and over. You end up with lots of samples for one stamp set and none for others.

When I first saw this stamp set called Pedaling Past in the Summer Mini it just reminded me of my younger days when all I did was ride my bike. Now a days kids don't seem to ride their bikes as much as we did!!! I also had to use some of the new Smooch Spritz that is coming out!!! Oh la la is it sparkly in real life!!! If you need the rest of the recipe for this card just leave me a comment here on this post or email me and I will get it out to you as soon as I return to land.

Gotta love all my bows!!! I just have too much fun doing them and I am always referred to as the Bow Lady at my events when there is a bow to be bowed!!!!

Have a great day!!!

Beautiful Hummingbird!!

Here is a beauty I did for a recent WOW Swap I was in for Cruise Achievers. Since Stampin' Up! Demonstrators just LOVE to swap with each other at all Stampin' Up! events we just have to get together and swap while on the Cruise too but since this is a vacation and you have limited luggage space for swaps we have all decided to move our swapping to mail in swaps before we actually leave for the Cruise. Several different Demonstrators usually step up and host the mail in swaps and you just decide which one you want to sign up for. The one I chose was a WOW Swap using Summer Mini or Current Catalog items.
I just LOVE anything paired with Basic Black Cardstock and this color, Melon Mambo, fits the bill perfectly!!! AND it is one of the current In Colors that will be making itself at home in the new Color Renovation. Sooooo exciting!!!!! The rest of my card uses the Melon Mambo Textured Cardstock, Basic Black 5/8" Satin Ribbon, the stamp sets called Elements of Style & Tiny Tags, Medium Jewelry Tag Punch and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Can you tell what my new favorite thing is????

SAFETY PINS!!!

And I just love this hummingbird!! This set is a must have from the new Summer Mini that will be coming out May 1st.
Have a great day!!

A RAK From A BFF!!

I just love having Happy Mail Days!! Nothing else can compare to opening that mailbox and seeing an envelope with your name on it that is NOT a bill!!! That is what we like to call a RAK, random acts of kindness, and everyone loves to receive them!!
This beautiful lovely card was sent to me from one of my BFF's, Robin Merriman. The moment we met (ok the second moment we met at Founder's Circle) we have become the best of friends and always look forward to seeing each other at all the Stampin' Up! events.
Can't wait to see you my friend this weekend in San Juan!!!! I love and miss you lots and always am counting down the days until we meet up again (and it is always like we have not been apart!!).
I hope you all love this card as much as I do!!! Have a great day!!

UDI Sketch Challenge #79

Have you made your Mother's Day Cards yet?? Don't worry if you haven't you still have plenty of time!! This sketch from the UDI Blog was a perfect fit with this awesome stamp set from the Occasions Mini!!
This stamp set called Messages for Mom is just perfect for Mother's Day and all kinds of other special reasons to give a card to anyone. Yep, just because it states "Messages for Mom" you can use all the different sayings for just about any occasion!! Birthday, Love, Thank You and the list goes on for reasons to use this stamp set. So if you don't need a Mother's Day card for whatever reason this stamp set can still be used for other reasons.
I also used the Cottage Wall DSP, Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Color Spritzer and the Pretties Kit.

This card went together in literally minutes and still looks elegant!! I am sure my mom will love it!!
Make sure you check out Carol's Blog to see what she did with this sketch from the UDI Blog. Keep clicking on each blog to see the whole Design Team and you will then end up back here.
Have a great trip on our blog hop and day!!
