Happy Friday to everyone!! I hope you are enjoying your day so far. We are having awesome 80 degree weather here in Southern Indiana even though Fall should be here. Love it and love being in my studio creating with the windows open!! Well I have a card to show all of you plus a tutorial so grab your favorite drink, sit back and read on!!
First up is my card. I had to get some stuff in the mail to one of my out of town downline plus a card to congratulate her on her awesome month she just had so this card is for you, Lisa!!I started with a 6" x 6" piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, scored it at 3" and you have a card that fits in our Small Open-End Envelopes. I also used the Regals Patterns DSP Pack in Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler & Whisper White Card Stock, the stamp sets called Curly Cute & Just Believe, Antique Brads, Regals Designer Buttons, Color Spritzer, Ticket Corner Punch and the Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding.
What to learn how to have ribbon like this?? Well read on for a picture tutorial on how to make it yourself!!! AND it is soooooo easy!!!!
First take your Seam Binding Ribbon that you can order out of the Holiday Mini and decide how much you want. Cut it off the spool.
Now you get it wet all the way through. Soaking wet. Squeeze the excess water out of the ribbon and scrunch ribbon in a paper towel. This takes all the excess water out of the ribbon and lets you squeeze and scrunch the ribbon.
Now you just leave somewhere to let dry. I just left mine on my desk over night and it was done. You could probably use your heat tool if you were in a pinch. Just be careful not to burn yourself or the ribbon.
Now you have scrunched up Seam Binding Ribbon. Too cool don't you think?? Let me know if you have any questions at all!! If you want to order some of this yummy Seam Binding Ribbon just go to my Online Store HERE to get some of this ribbon on its way to you. The Cherry Cobbler's item number is 120992, Very Vanilla's item number is 120999 and Always Artichoke's item number is 121000. Don't forget about the HUGE Clearance Rack with over 200 new items just added up to 80% off.
