Stamping 411-Sketch Challenge #163

I am taking a quick break on posting my Stampin' Up! Convention pictures and bringing you the weekly Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge. We have another awesome sketch for all of you so lets get started!!
I decided to flip this sketch on its side. The is the beauty of sketches. You can use them as is, turn them and even use them for scrapbooking. I consider a sketch as a blueprint, a starting point for your creativity.

Is this not beautiful?? Every once in a while I do surprise myself and create something I really really like!!! I needed a special Wedding Card for this weekend so that was my starting point along with this weeks sketch and I pulled out the very brand new Color Coach for my color combination (love this new item!!).

I started with the Presto Patterns Specialty DSP, Bravo Burgundy, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White & Sahara Sand Card Stock, Scallop Trim Border & Jewelry Tag Medium Punches, the stamp set called Tiny Tags, 5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribbon, Antique Brads, Linen Thread, Stamping Sponges, Silver Foil & Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz and my Big Shot with the Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Just love these Antique Brads!!! They add just the perfect touch, don't you think??

This Presto Patterns Specialty DSP that appears white with white glossy designs that you reveal with ink or paint for an emboss resist look. For this card I used a Stamping Sponge with Bravo Burgundy Classic Ink. I dabbed the sponge onto the ink pad and applied the ink onto the DSP in a circular motion. After covering the entire piece of DSP I spritzed it with the two different Smooch Spritzes. This card is actually very sparkly in real life and I am sure my cousin is going to love it!!!!
Make sure to hop on over to the Stamping 411 Blog to check out the other Operator's cards. I hope to see your card too using this sketch!!
Have a great day!!

Love this! TFS What a great idea for using the large border paper for the card - always wonder what to do with these sheets that are more for scrapping.
