I CASED Stampin' Up! & More!!

If you have seen the brand new Definitely Decorative Mini Catalog that Stampin' Up! just put out?? If you haven't run don't walk and click on the picture of this mini on my sidebar and be prepared to be blown away!!! I am loving everything they keep coming out and expanding this awesome line with!!!! Just look below for some inspiration and of course a CASE of this mini too!!
This frame is actually a CASE out of this mini from page 5. Dasher is a actually a FREE Decor Elements that you can earn for being a hostess and hosting either a Stampin' Up! Workshop or a Definitely Decorative Workshop. He comes in 4 different colors to choose from. This one here is Dasher in Chocolate. I purchased the 11x14 frame from Wal-Mart, removed the backing, applied Dasher to the front of the glass, added the Chocolate Chip 1 1/4 ' Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and to keep the glass from falling out I secured it to the frame with our Crystal Effects. Now that glass is not going anywhere!!! Love that stuff!!

This guy makes the perfect Christmas decoration or even a great gift!!!

Now look at this yummy jar!!! I purchased the empty glass jar at Wal-Mart, filled it with candy, tied the top with the Real Red 3/4" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon and applied another Decor Elements to the outside of the jar called Eat. This one is the small in Red found on page 19. Wouldn't you just love to have one of these on your kitchen counter??

I hope you have enjoyed a little trip through our brand new Definitely Decorative Mini!! There will of course be lots more from this mini in the coming months!!
Have a great day!!
Enjoy,
Tiffany

Big Sis

I did this one for the Late Night Stampers Yahoo Group Challenge #29-Pink & Black Color Combo. This color combo is so awesome together!!! You can use any shade of pink and black to make your project and upload it to the Members Photo Album by Sunday at midnight. There is still lots of time to play along with us!! Just go HERE if you are not yet a member of this awesome Yahoo Group, it's FREE and soooooo worth it!!
I used Basic Black, Pretty in Pink & Melon Mambo Cardstock, Photo Corner & Eyelet Border Punches, Basic Black Gingham Ribbon, White uni-ball Signo Gel Pen, the stamp set called Extreme Elements, Clear Rhinestones and my Big Shot with the Stampin' Up! Lattice & Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Dies & Stampin' Up! Timeless Type Alphabet Junior Letters Medium Sizzlits Dies.

It is hard to see but I used this stamp set on the Basic Black butterflies and also on the Basic Black Cardstock around the edges and around the photos. Looks really cool in person!!

Aren't these butterflies the neatest thing?? AND that Lattice makes the neatest background. I just cut out three of them and lined them up on my layout.

I hope you all will join us this week for this challenge!!

Have a great day!!

Enjoy,
Tiffany

Up Up And Away!!!

I made the following bag found HERE for one of my Ribbon Shares and had some requests for the directions. Instead of writing the directions out I thought I would just do a picture tutorial for all of you. This bag is great when you have extra DSP laying around because you get two of these bags out of one 12x12 piece of DSP.
Now is this bag not the cutest thing ever?? I actually got the idea of using our Tall Tales DSP and cutting it up since these images are on some of the pieces from my fellow Late Night Stampers Yahoo Group Design Team member Jenn. She did a card found HERE and I just knew I wanted to try my hand at using these images!! AND since I wanted to recreate this bag for my picture tutorial I thought this was the perfect time to play with this DSP!! Makes a great gift bag for any kids birthday!!
First start with a 12x12 piece of DSP and cut it to 6x12.
Then turn your DSP 90 degrees and score at 5 3/4" and 6 1/4". Turn your DSP again 90 degrees and score at 1/2" and 5 3/4". Then you will cut your score line at 5 3/4" and 6 1/4" to the first score line. After doing this and scoring your scored lines place sticky strip on the flaps.
Fold your to ends up, remove the red top of your sticky strip and adhere together.

After your box is together I used our Jumbo Eyelets and our Crop-A-Dile on each side of the box for the ribbon handle.
After your ribbon is attached decorate your box however you like.
I used everything from the Tall Tales DSP, Rose Red Brads, Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-A-Dile and the stamp set called Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I hope you all can make heads and tails of this picture tutorial!! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email.
Have a great day!!
Enjoy,
Tiffany

You can even omit the sayings and get more for your $$. Here is my card showcasing this cute stamp set that I did for my good friend's, Robin, Go Diva Catalog Preview Swap a couple of weeks ago AND it was just showcased on Stampin' Up!'s Stampers Showcase!!!
