Late Night Stampers Challenge #16

Who doesn't love a challenge?? AND a sketch challenge?? Well I know I do!! And this is what Jenn and I have proposed for the Late Night Stampers Yahoo Group Challenge #16. Is this sketch not great?? It even has measurements!! But remember a sketch is only a guideline and you can do what ever you wish with a sketch. So get your creative caps on, play around with this sketch and upload all your creations to this ALBUM. If you need lots more inspiration from the design team check out this ALBUM. And if you are not a member of this yahoo group yet, no problem, just go HERE and sign up. The best thing about this group besides all the great inspiration is it is FREE.
Here are some of my creations with this sketch. I have been having so much fun with this sketch!!!!

This card uses the Bella Rose DSP, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss & Pretty in Pink Cardstock, Riding Hood Red 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Button Bouquet, Linen Thread, Ticket Corner Punch and Birthday Wish Under $10 Stamp found on page 208 of the current catalog and can be yours FREE this month!! Email me and I can tell you how.

I also used my Big Shot with the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I Texture Plate on the Pretty in Pink Cardstock.

I actually took this sketch and made a 12x12 layout with it!!! And I really like how it turned out too!!! For my layout I used the Flock Together DSP, Tempting Turquoise & So Saffron Cardstock, Photo corner & Scallop Edge Punches, So Saffron 7/8" Poly-Twill Ribbon, the stamp set called Bird on a Branch and the Big Shot with the Frame, Oval Scallop Bigz Die and the Go Go Boots Alphabet Set Sizzlits Die for my title.

For my final project I have done so far with this sketch is this card. I took the sketch and turned my card on its side. See you can do anything with a sketch!! For this card I used the Good Morning Sunshine DSP, Pacific Point & Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Pacific Point 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch, On Board So Tweet, Clear Rhinestone Brad and the stamp sets called Bird on the Branch & Absolutely Fabulous.

Now it is your turn!!! Go play with this sketch and upload it to the yahoo group's album. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this great sketch as a guideline. And remember if you don't belong to the group you can sign up for FREE!!!

Have a great day!!

Bloggers Challenge #96-Alter It

It's that time again for another Bloggers Challenge and this week we were to Alter It. I decided to alter a picture frame that I had picked up at Wal-Mart years ago for $2.
I was looking through the Stampin' Up! catalog and this DSP, Pink Flamingo, just screams Hawaii!!!! So I decided to use it for one of 1,000's of pictures I took while we were there last month for FREE with Stampin' Up! Doesn't get any better then FREE!!!!!
This picture is of Jon and I on the Volcano Tour at the Volcano (it is actually in the background). It was a windy and wet day so I am not looking my best!!!LOL!!!
I also used the Big Shot with the Flower Layers #3 & the Leaves #2 Original Dies to make my flower out of Tempting Turquoise, Summer Sun & Cameo Coral Cardstock, my leaves are made out of Tempting Turquoise Cardstock and I used the Summer Sun Corduroy Brad for the center of the flower.

For the word "Hawaii" I used the Big Shot with the Stampin' Up! Billboard Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die in Tempting Turquoise.
Make sure you check out all the other members of the Bloggers Challenge HERE. There are always great ideas and inspiration on these ladies blogs!!
Have a great day!!

Congrats Card

Here is a card I made for one of my downline for top sales. This card uses the Bella Birds DSP, So Saffron & Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Chocolate Chip 5/16" Jumbo Brads, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/2", 1", 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" Circle Punches, stamp sets called Four Square & Absolutely Fabulous and the Big Shot with the Circles #2 Original Die.

What I did was layered all my circles and then used the 1/2" circles on the backside of the Whisper White circle to make the bigger scallop circle since we do not have a punch or die the size I needed. I also used the Congrats stamp and instead of punching it out as it stamps (a square) I used a circle punch for a different look. So how do you like??

Have a great day!!

A Baby Present

One of my Stamp Club members and friend is having a baby!! She is due around the end of May and this will make number 4!!! Some of her girlfriends threw her a baby shower (her daughters are spaced far apart and I believe they were kind of done having kids so no baby stuff around the house). We were also asked to bring along a 8x8 scrapbook page for the baby too. I couldn't go to the shower so I gave her her gift at club night last Friday night.

I took some onsies and decorated them with a stamp and also with our Big Shot. The heart one is cut out of red felt using our Big Shot with the Hearts Set Sizzlits 4-pack die. I sewed it on with my sewing machine and it turned out to cute!!! The other onsie I stamped with Black Stazon Ink using the stamp set called Zoofari and colored in the birds with a yellow sharpie.

For my scrapbook page I actually cased the Stampin' Up! catalog!!! I cased the layout on page 69 and just changed it up a bit by using a different stamp set and accessories.

I think it turned out stinkin' cute if I say so myself!!!
On my layout I used the Rockabilly Specialty DSP, Riding Hood Red, Basic Black & Kiwi Kiss Cardstock, Riding Hood Red 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Natural Hemp Twine, Linen Thread, Button Bouquet Designer Buttons, Basic Black Mini Library Clip, Square Scallop Punch and the stamp sets called Nursery Necessities (bird) & Cute & Cuddly (saying).

Have a great day!!!!

March's Ribbon Share Is Now READY!!!!

That's right, I am now finally done ordering, receiving, cutting and packaging ALL this ribbon and was it ALOT of ribbon!!!! I do have to apologize for being this late with this ribbon share but our trip late last month and the picking times with Stampin' Up! really put me behind!! Any hoo the ribbon is all ready and being delivered to their new owners ASAP!!

Is this packing not the cutest thing ever?? I did use the now retired Gusset Bags in large with all kinds of scrap DSP I had laying around.

I am loving this brand new stamp set called Oval All and the coordinating Oval Scallop Punch. These two items are now available in the Occasions Mini. This stamp set and punch go perfect with our Large Oval Punch too.

AND the winner of the extra ribbon (pictured in the glass jar when I had sign ups going on) is
CINDY PASQUINO!!!!!
Congrats Cindy!! I will have your winnings along with your ribbon share when your club order comes in. I will email you when it arrives!!

Bloggers Challenge #94-Color Challenge

It's time for another Bloggers Challenge and this week we were to use these colors: Artichoke, Chocolate, Sage & Sahara Sand.
And of course we have a DSP pack with all these colors in it!! AND this makes me very happy!!! This DSP is called To the Nines Specialty. I also used a brand new stamp set that is in the Occasions Mini right now called Golden Oldies, Watercolor Pencils with a Blender Pen, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Jumbo Brad and Chocolate Chip 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

To make the ribbon fringed on one side all I did was cut away the edge of the ribbon, pulled out the white stitching and then started pulling strips of the ribbon out at the top of the ribbon. What a fun different look you get!!
Don't forget to check out all the other awesome ladies in this group HERE to see what they all came up with.

AND of course this stamp set called And Many Mower that is in the new Occasions Mini is just perfect for manly cards!! I also used the Chocolate Chip Corduroy Buttons, Watercolor Wonder Crayons (and yes, I just colored with them!!) and my Big Shot with the Ovals Originals Die.
