Look Who I Design For!!!!

I want to introduce you all to the wonderful design team members of this awesome Yahoo Group!!

My name is Virginia Killmore and I live in upstate New York. I am married to a wonderful supportive husband who is the love of my life. I have two wonderful sons. One teaches third grade in Brooklyn New York and the other one is a designer for a firm in Rochester New York. I am presently an high school art teacher the best job in the whole school! I have been teaching for about eight years. I love working with high school kids and it really helped with my empty nest syndrome when my sons left for college. Before teaching I was a doll maker and sold my work across the country at art and craft fairs for over 20 years. It was so gratifying designing, making and selling something I created. I went back to teaching for a change but always missed the creative challenges of designing and selling my work. I have been a stamper for about five years and a demo for three. I stumbled on stamping and fell in love with it instantly. I love the quickness of the card design and it just tickles me when some one comments on my work! Becoming a demo was such an easy extension of being a teacher and discovering LNS has been such a great resource of ideas. Thank you to all that voted for me I am so truly blessed to be in such talented company. I can't wait to get started. This will be my first design team, something I set as a goal for myself this year. Thanks for helping me attain my goal

Hi, my name is Mary Jo Price-Williams. I am so blessed to be a stay at home mom of one extremely adorable, handsome, darling, sweet, loving -- whoops, sorry I am supposed to be telling you about me. Can you tell I am a Mom. So here are some details about me, I am 44 years old, married and live in Orchard Park, NY. Yep that is the home of the Buffalo Bills and lots of snow! I have one wonderful son (8 years old) a great husband, two dogs, a cat and a snake! It's a full house. I have been stamping for about 6 years. Before that I played around with just about every craft that there is, except for sewing. I do have a machine but only use it on paper crafts! I am fortunate enough to have a studio in my basement so I can stamp when ever I feel like it and that is quite a bit! I am very excited about my new position on the Design Team for Latenightstampers! Not only will I be working with some extremely talented stampers but it also give me a way to give back a little to Sherrill and the rest of the members on group for giving so much to me in such a short time.

My name is Tiffany Bauer. I am a wife to Jon for 15 years now and a mom of three wonderful kiddos, Kaitlyn 12, Griffen 9 and Jordan 7. We live in a very tiny one street town in Southern Indiana called Dubois, population 800. My true love is scrapbooking but since joining Stampin' Up! 2 1/2 years ago I have been enjoying card making and stamping on everything!! At this past Stampin' Up! Convention I was named the number 1 Rising Star and number 50 Top Demonstrator, awarded my very first but hopefully not last Founder's Trip and just returned from my very first but not last incentive trip to Hawaii!!!!! This is one wonderful company to work for and all the demonstrators I have met and will meet are all so wonderful!!!! I feel so very blessed to have a wonderful husband, great kids, a job where I get to create and preserve all my wonderful memories and so many awesome friends and friendships I have made along the way.

My name is Jenn Diercks. I am a wife of 7 years to my husband Roger, a Stay-at-Home-Mom to two boys, Colin (6) and Evan (3), and an avid stamper. I was introduced to Stampin' Up! about 7 years ago by my Mom and sister, who would often attend classes. I was teaching full time and stamping just didn't fit into my life. When my first son was born I stamped his birth invitations and as soon as they were done my supplies were put away and I didn't look at them for another few years. In November of 2006, I attended a workshop that was hosted by my Mom and saw the business potential in it. Little did I know how much I would fall in love with stamping and creating. For the last 2 1/2 years stamping has been a daily part of my life. Besides stamping I am an avid reader, but my biggest joy in life is all of the time I get to spend with my family. I am honored to have been chosen to be on the Late Night Stampers Design team and I look forward to what the next 3 months will bring.

My name is Susan Shields. I was first introduced to stamping in 1995. I joined SU during SAB in 2008 under Vivian Swain, who has been a wonderful mentor and instructor. I am a single mother of 6, grandmother to 3 and 1/2. My oldest daughter and her husband are expecting their first, a girl, Clare Marie, in July 09. My youngest daughter is 17 and a high school junior who was recently accepted into a brand new puppy training program. It is an intensive 18 month commitment and her puppy, Sam, will be used to help hundreds of individual as Arizona's first court dog! I am very passionate about helping to educate the public on service dogs and their importance to the community. I am also my second oldest son's caregiver after an accident in 2000 caused by a drunk driver left him paralyzed from the chest down. He is a transformed young man whom I greatly admire for his incredible faith and love! Stamping has been a source of relaxation and stimulation for me! I think about ideas 24/7 and sometimes even dream about stamping! I am excited and honored to have been chosen for the design team and anxious to meet many stamping friends!

My name is Heidi Michel, I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Doug. Together we have been blessed with 3 wonderful children. We reside in Ohio where we both have called home for all of our lives. I have been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for 1 ½ years now but stamping for 6 + years. I am a Senior Supervisor with a great team of gals whom I dearly love. I have been Hired by Sherrill and encourage others to apply. I love to be challenged and I truly believe that my calling was to be right where I am with Stampin’ Up! I am very passionate about my creations and I find myself continuously escaping directly into my work. I am so blessed to be on this team of talented designers and I hope that my work inspires you to create.

Hi, my name is Tammy Fite. I've been a demo for 9+ years, and love it! This is my second turn on the Late Night Stampers design team, and I'm really excited!! I'm married, with two gorgeous boys--ages 13 & 11. My husband is very supportive of my business, and only groans a little when he enters the "room"! I look forward to the next three months

My name is Stephanie Zeto and I am so excited to have been chosen for the LNS design team! My husband and I have 5 children, ages 22, 18, 16, 9 and 5. I love to read and crochet, but my biggest hobby is stamping. I was introduced to Stampin' Up! about 10 years ago when I was invited to a workshop and was immediately hooked! I became a demonstrator shortly thereafter. I enjoy scrapbooking, but seem to be more passionate about card making. I love the daily escape of stamping, sharing what I do with others and the new friendships I have made through this hobby. I am looking forward to being on this design team and hope that I can inspire you!

This Yahoo Group is just amazing and you will never see so many beautiful 100% current Stampin Up! cards in one place! Bloggers Challenge #91-Think Spring

Our Blogger's Challenge this week was to Think Spring!!!!! And let me tell you I am SOOOOOO ready for Spring and the sun and the nice weather and flip flops and.......I could go on and on!!!LOL!!!! Before I get to my card I do what to give a shout out to Robin for her card from our recent Go Diva Swap we did for the new catalog. She used this stamp set called Garden Greetings on her card and after seeing her card I just had to order this stamp set!!!! So thanks Robin for your awesome inspiration!!!! Here is a link to her card on her blog. I hope everyone is like me and just loves it!!!
For my Spring Card I used the Washington Apple DSP, So Saffron & Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, Bashful Blue 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon and the brand new Scallop Oval Punch that will be available April 1st when the Occasions Mini comes out. This card was also done using a sketch from Mojo Monday. Gotta love sketches!!!!

I just love layering this one flower. I stamped the one big flower three times in each color then just cut out the different layers of the flower. I layered them on top of each other with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Have a great day and don't forget to visit each of the other awesome ladies that are in this Blogger's Challenge Group. Just click on the Blogger's Challenge icon on my sidebar to take you to a list of links.

Reach For The Stars!

I made this card because I was wanting to play around with this new stamp set called Animal Crackers that I had earned FREE from Stampin' Up! for a contest they ran in December. I have not had a chance to play with it yet!! Can you believe that one???
These little animals are so darn cute and fun to color!!! For my card I used the Candy Lane DSP, Very Vanilla & Close to Cocoa Cardstock, Very Vanilla 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Jumbo Brads, Watercolor Paper, Brown Stazon (now retired) and my Watercolor Wonder Crayons with my Aqua Painter.

Have a great day!!!

A Card For Grandma

My Grandma has not been feeling well lately and she just LOVES my handmade cards so I decided to make her a Get Well card and send it to her in the mail this week. I am sure this will cheer her up instantly!!!
For her card I did use a brand new stamp set that will be available April 1st when the Occasions Mini comes out called Scene in a Garden along with an oldie but goodie stamp set called Sincere Salutations (this is one stamp set that has been around for a long time and is a must have if you are into card making!!! It has a saying for every occasion you would need), Bella Birds DSP, Pink Pirouette & Chocolate Chip Cardstock, the Eyelet Border Punch, Pink Pirouette 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and my Stampin' Pastels.

I hope you are feeling lots better very soon Grandma!!!

HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY!!!!

Have a great St Patty's Day everyone!!
This card was inspired by someone on one of my Yahoo Groups I belong to. Sorry I have forgotten who but thank you for the inspiration!!!! Sorry for the bad picture, I had forgotten to take a picture of my card so I used my scanner and it is not near as flattering!!!
My card uses the stamp set called Cheers to You, the standard roller Cheers, Glorious Green Cardstock, Glorious Green Marker, 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" Square Punches, 1/4" Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds (yes, I put my dazzling diamonds on my beer frost to make it sparkle) and the "Kissing" Technique. This stamp set only comes with the mug of beer with the handle on the right side. To get the two mugs to "click" for toasting you have to reverse the image. Here is a tutorial on this technique that I used but changed it up a bit to fit my need.
I hope you all don't get pinched today!!!!!

SSUS Weekly Challenge 3/13

Last weeks SSUS Challenge was an inspiration piece. These are always tough for me and this one was no exception!!

This is the card I came up with. I took the bird with branches as my inspiration and also used the color combo on the pillow on the right. I hope my partner Stephanie likes it????
For this card I used the Parisian Breeze Specialty DSP, Baja Breeze & Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Edge, Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle & 1 1/4" Circle Punches, Natural Hemp Twine, Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons (these will be available April 1st with the brand new Occasions Mini), Think Happy Thoughts Stamp Set and the Birds & Branches Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die with the Big Shot.

Love these Corduroy Buttons!!!!

The Rising Stars 2008

Do you know what is in these packages?? Well keep reading......
Do you all remember this post? The book I made for all the Rising Stars that I took with me to Founder's Circle and asked each of them if they would do an "All About Me" 6x6 layout so we all would have an awesome keepsake from this wonderful achievement we all earned from Stampin' Up! Well ALL the pages are now done, sorted, packaged and mailed back to each of the stars. Now we have an awesome keepsake for ourselves and I want to share it all with you.
Just look at these piles!!!

Now this is a bunch of stars!!

This layout I made for each lady to put in her book. It is a group picture we took while we were at Founder's Circle. One of the ladies was not with us on stage when they announced the Rising Star Award at Convention. We all wanted a complete picture of all 15 of us with Shelli.

This one is me of course. This picture was actually took at Convention at the closing ceremonies. I asked each of the ladies to put a picture of themselves, their ranking and some tidbits about themselves on the layout.

#2 Ruth

#3 Stacie

#4 Julie

#5 Karen

#9 Sharon

#10 Ashley

#11 Joey

#12 Carolyn

#13 Robin

#14 Rene

#15 Cherise

I also made them a little goodie as a huge thank you for doing this.

Who doesn't love some chocolate??

Everything I used for these treats was from Sale-A-Bration except the Frame, Oval Scallop Bigz Die with my Big Shot.
I hope you all enjoyed getting a glimpse of the current Rising Stars. I know I have loved getting to know these wonderful ladies and hope our friendship continues for years to come!!!

Bloggers Challenge #90-It's All About Texture

My card today is for the Bloggers Challenge this week. We were to use our new texture plates or any embossing folders. I decided to pull out my new Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I and used it on the card with my Big Shot. I then took a Sponge Dauber and inked Pink Pirouette ink all over the card to make the texture "pop". I also used the Bella Birds DSP, Pink Pirouette Cardstock, Scallop Square Punch, Whisper White Organza Ribbon and a brand new stamp set called Great Friend that will be in the Occasions Mini that starts April 1st. I just love the butterfly in this stamp set!!!

Have a great day and make sure to check out the other members of the Blogger's Challenge group and see what they came up with.

February Ribbon Share is Ready!!

Sorry for the delay on getting these packaged up and ready for everyone!! I had a bigger order then normal for this ribbon share and with Stampin' Up! being so long on their picking and shipping time it took a little longer to get my ribbon. Well enough said about that, it is now ready and either being shipped to you now or being delivered.

For the packaging this time I used some of the Sale-A-Bration DSP called Delicate Dots that you can earn FREE until the end of this month, the Wide Oval Punch, Medium Gussett Bags that are now retired, the stamp set called Yummy that you can also earn FREE until the end of this month during Sale-A-Bration and the Top Note Die with my Big Shot.

Have a great day!!

So Freakin' Excited!!

I was asked to submit a bio of myself and some of my artwork to Sherrill so she could spotlight me on her blog, Late Night Stamper. I am so excited that someone wants to spotlight me!!!! Go check out her blog and leave a me a comment!!!!

Enjoy,
Tiffany

Thinking of You

Here is another embossed butterfly card I did. These butterflies are just too darn cute!!!! I love cutting out all the different sizes that are all on the one die and layering them. I made this card and sent it to Ruth (RS #2) since she will not be able to join us in Hawaii due to her husband being sick. I wanted to let her know I was thinking of them and hoping all goes well. We sure will miss Ruth!!! She is a hoot and one of the sweetest ladies I have met!!
For this card I used the exact things I used on this card except for the stamp set. I used the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp Set.

Have a great day!!!

Enjoy,
Tiffany
