Ready for another Bloggers Challenge? Ready for a sneak peak? Ready to fall in love? Then you are at the right place!! I got my delivery the other day of all the brand new items that Stampin' Up! is coming out with on January 5th, 2010 in the Occasions Mini. Let me tell you I am in LOVE!!!! Stampin' Up! has decided to come out with what we call "Clear Mount Stamps" and they are AWESOME!! You will still have the option when purchasing a stamp set to either purchase it in the Wood Mount Style or the new Clear Mount Style. Stay tuned for lots more information about this brand new stamp style in the coming days and weeks, but for now onto my Bloggers Challenge.
Sometimes you just need a clean and simple but elegant card, right? Well that is what I had in mind for this card I actually made for my daughter, Kaitlyn, whose birthday is the 23rd of this month. She will be entering her "teens" this year and I just do not know where the time has gone!!For her card I used Whisper White Cardstock as my base and decorated the right side edge with the brand new Pinking Hearts Border Punch, attached a strip of Real Red Cardstock on the back side and wrapped around this awesome brand new Real Red 5/8" Satin Ribbon (make sure to check out my monthly newsletter this month for a Ribbon Share involving all the brand new colors in this Satin Ribbon). I also used a brand new stamp set called Well Scripted in the Clear Mount Style. Let me tell you it was super easy to position this image straight on!!! Love that fact even though I am a HUGE fan of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
