Bloggers Challenge #103-Sketch

It's Friday again and you know what time it is!!! It is Bloggers Challenge time again and this week we had a sketch to work with!!! You all know how much I love sketches so I was all over this one!!! Make sure to check out all the other bloggers in this group to see what they came up with. Click on my Bloggers Challenge button on my sidebar to take you to the list of ladies in this group. I am sure there is some awesome work to be seen.
I did a card for this sketch but also needed a gift for my daughter because she has a birthday party to go to tomorrow night and the birthday girl just loves my craftiness so I decided to alter a simple photo album I had picked up at Wal-Mart to match her card. I hope she likes it as much as I do!! I think it turned out too stinkin' cute!!

For these projects I went way back and pulled out some older DSP called Loves Me. I can't even tell you when this DSP came out but I do know it is double sided and fun!! I also used Taken with Teal & Regal Rose Cardstock, Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Window, 1 3/8" Square & Scallop Border Punches, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, the stamp set called Bitty Birthday and my Big Shot with the Go Go Boots Alphabet Set Sizzlits Dies.

I hope you all liked my projects. Sometimes you just need to go back and pull out some retired DSP to change things up now and again.

Have a great day!!

Wonderful! So pretty and fun. I like how you added a smaller layer with the cake over the larger pattern layer. The journal is really nice too and what a great gift for your daughter's friend.

So funny, Emma pulled out this dsp the other night to make an autograph book for the last day of school - I guess great minds think alike!
