A Skating Christmas

Now that Thanksgiving is behind us it is now time to start focusing on Christmas. I can't believe it is here already!!! We are putting up the tree, decorating the house and I designed my Christmas card today. With all that said I thought I would share with you all a Christmas card I made for a demo event I went to last weekend. There was about 20 fellow demonstrators there and of course anytime there are fellow SU demonstrators close by you HAVE to swap, right?? This is the card front I took with me to swap with everyone. I just love how it turned out!!! Loving the Big Shot, that stamp set AND our holiday DSP!!!!

This card uses the stamp sets called Winter Post out of the Holiday Mini & Heard from the Heart, Holiday Treasures DSP, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Naturals Ivory, Kraft & Riding Hood Red Cardstock VersaMark, Linen Thread and the Big Shot with the Top Note Bigz Die.

Have a great weekend and remember the Holiday Extravaganza Sale is still going on until the close of business on Monday December 1st.

Post Thanksgiving Decor

If you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator you will definitely recognize my take on a project Stampin' Up! created for us in our monthly magazine. Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrators sure as it's perks!!! This company is always giving/showing us all kinds of ideas/projects that we can create to showcase all these awesome products we sell AND they encourage us to CASE their ideas to show our customers. I just LOVE this company and all the great products they keep coming out with!!!
If you want to be a part of my team, My Crafty SisTAHS just email me.
This frame I purchased at Micheal's as just a "frame" meaning no glass and no backing. I didn't want the glass because the leaves are suppose to be coming out of the frame. I used a piece of 12 x 12 piece of Chocolate Chip Textured Cardstock and cut it to 8 x 10. I also used Kraft, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel & Certainly Celery Cardstock and Autumn Vine DSP, Linen Thread, The Big Shot with the Leaves #2 Originals Die & Naturally Serif Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die, Kraft Taffeta Ribbon, Library Clips, Small Oval Punch and the stamp sets called Itty Bitty Backgrounds & Country Blessings.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and didn't eat too much!!! We had a great day spent with my family and then later for dinner we spent time with my husband's mom and the rest of his family. AND I did eat too much!!!!

Giving Thanks

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
EVERYONE!!
I hope everyone is enjoying their day with family and friends!!
I just wanted to post to let everyone know how much I appreciate them on this day of giving thanks for everything special in your lives. I have had a wonderful year of blogging, stamping, scrapbooking and meeting sooooo many new people (more then I ever imaged and am so grateful for each and everyone of you). Thank you all for your friendship and continued business.
Here is to another great year and tons of great friendships!!!
This shadow box (sorry for the poor pictures of this, it does look awesome in person) was purchased at Michael's and pretty much cased it from Stampin' Up! They had this done up at Convention and I just loved it!! I used the Season of Thanks Decor Elements in Chocolate size small. I filled the shadow box with a bunch of fall potpourri (if you open this shadow box it is like heaven) and I also lined the back panel with our Juntos DSP (this DSP is in Stampin' Up!'s Spanish Catalog but anyone can order it).
I am taking this to my mom's to display for Thanksgiving.
Have a great day!!

Decor Elements Photo Book

Have you ever wondered how to display lots of ideas for your Decor Elements without buying ALL of them?? Well after Stampin' Up! came out with the Decor Elements line back in July I signed up for a picture swap on SCS that was due at Convention. All I had to do was sign up for a particular transfer, purchase it, put it up and then take a picture of it. After we were told how many ladies signed up that is how many pictures we brought with us to Convention to swap with each other. This way we have all kinds of ideas to show our customers using our Decor Elements.
100 ladies signed up so I got that many different ideas back and needed to store them in something that was easy to take with me to workshops. I found this photo album at Wal-Mart, decorated it with our DSP, one of the transfers that is being offered as a bulk buy right now and a Rhinestone Brad.
I filled it with all the pictures I received from that swap and other pictures I have taken of my own Decor Elements that I have done since that swap. This album has really helped me sell lots of Decor Elements!!!

Enjoy,
Tiffany

"All About Me" Layout

This is a 6x6 layout I did a couple of years ago for a swap I was involved in on a Scrapbooking Message Board. The reason I am posting this here on my blog now is that I have organized an "All About Me" swap with my fellow Rising Star Ladies from this year. Remember this album? I made these for all the Rising Stars this year and gave it to them at Founder's Circle in exchange for everyone agreeing to doing an "All About Me" 6x6 layout swap. Well a couple of the ladies have asked for some guidance in doing their layouts so I thought I would just post this one I have done to give them an idea of this kind of layout.

Just include a pic of yourself and a little info. I asked them to include their Rising Star number on their layout too. This is going to be a great keepsake of this AWESOME award we all received from Stampin' Up! for doing what we all love to do, STAMP.

X-mas gift

Our (Stampin' Up!) Decor Elements are just the perfect thing for making holiday gifts!! This year I have decided to make alot of my gift giving using our new Decor Elements that came out in phase 2 (click on my decor elements icon on the right hand side to view everything we offer and if you are interested in anything for yourself or for gift giving don't forget about my online ordering special).
I found this square picture frame at Micheal's for around $7. I believe it measures 4x4 so I used our "jingle all the way" Decor Element in red size small (3 5/8 x 3). I fits PERFECT!!!! As the background I used one of the designs out of the Ski Slope DSP that is found on page 12 of the Holiday Mini and decided to add some "bling" to my frame with our Little Felt Flurries found on page 18 of the Holiday Mini and a Rhinestone Brad. I attached it to the frame with our Crystal Effects. I just love this stuff!!!! I always tell everyone that it is like super glue for scrapbookers since it is safe to use in our scrapbooking and card making. This frame came with a black satin ribbon for hanging but I decided to take that off and go with Stampin' Up!'s Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.

TOO STINKIN' CUTE!!!!!

I hope you like it as much as I do and of course I hope the lucky person who is receiving this for Christmas likes it too.

If you want to make one for yourself don't forget about my online ordering special. If you are not familiar with this special click on the bullet on the top right hand side of my blog for more info.

Have a great day!!!

Christmas Tag

I just love this stamp set and The Big Shot!!!!
I CASED this Christmas Tag straight from the Holiday Mini. You can find the tag on page 23. I always say why recreate the wheel if someone else is going to do it, just CASE it!!!! As long as you don't "steal" their design and give due credit to the person or company where it came from all is game. So with that said this tag was designed by Stampin' Up! and I just LOVE it!!!!

This tag was made with Kraft Cardstock, Winter Post Stamp Set, VersaMark, Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, Crop-A-Dile, Jumbo Eyelets, Rope Twine and The Big Shot with the Top Note Bigz Die.

With this great stamp set and The Big Shot I am going to have so much fun making all my Christmas Tags this year!!! Contact me today to get your very own Christmas Tag maker or better yet use my online store and order it for yourself!!! Don't forget about my online ordering special too!!!!! (see bullet on top right side of my blog for more info)

Have a great day!!

Thankful

I finished this layout today for Shelli's Creative Challenge she has been holding since she started her blog right after Stampin' Up!'s Convention this year. The theme this month is to create something you are thankful for so of course I went with my kiddos and decided to do a scrapbook page. I found these pictures of them that were taken several years ago and I just love how cute and innocent they are in their matching outfits. You will NEVER catch them dressing similar now since they are must older!!!LOL!!!

For this layout I used Autumn Vine DSP, Chocolate Chip & Sage Shadow Cardstock, The Big Shot with the Top Note Bigz Die & Leaves #2 Originals Die and the stamp set called Country Blessings (which is now retired and was the stamp set in the Country Living Bundle last year-one of the best investments I have made, I just LOVE this stamp set!!!) and the Taffy Alphabet Stamps. I also used felt I bought at Wal-Mart, cork board I bought at Michael's and some material a friend of mine gave to me that were just scraps from where she works. I ran them all through my Big Shop with the Leaves #2 Originals Die and it cut these materials perfect!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Big Shot Banner

Let me tell you, I am having sooooo much fun with my Big Shot!!!!
Look at what I have made with it:
Don't you just love it??? I know I do. I have it hanging in my door way into my scrapbook room and just love looking at it everyday!

This was made using the Big Shot, Pennant Bigz XL Die, Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die, Serif Essentials Bigz Alphabet Die Set, Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-A-Dile, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon and fabric I picked up at Wal-Mart.

I just discovered this stuff you can buy at Wal-Mart in the fabric section (I don't recall the name??) that you can iron onto your fabric so you can then iron that item onto another piece of fabric. This is how I got the scallop circle and the letters to adhere to the pennant. Love this stuff!!!

If anyone is local and would love to make one of these pennants for themselves just contact me for the details!!! If you are not local and would love to have one of your very own just contact me and I can either get you the, send one out to you already assembled or hook you up with your very own Big Shot so you can make it yourself!!

Also, I hope everyone has noticed a BRAND NEW icon on my right sidebar at the top!!! This is a new program I am running to promote ONLINE ORDERING through me on my Stampin' Up! Business Website. Click on this icon to learn more about it and have a chance to win $50 in FREE Stampin' Up! products!!

A Skull kind of Birthday!!

Isn't this card just TOO STINKIN' CUTE!!??!! I love it!!!! I do have to admit THIS card is a TOTAL CASE of Mackenzie's card she did here. When I was visiting her blog I saw her card and told myself I just had to CASE it and give it to my great friend Kelly for her birthday, which is the same day as my son Griffen's birthday, Halloween Day. See Kelly just LOVES this stamp set but has not gotten it yet from Stampin' Up!, honestly I don't know WHY she has not gotten it yet (wink Kel!!). I hope I did Mackenzie's card justice!!!

I just LOVE how she made the eyes of this skull shaker boxes!! Too stinkin' cute!!!

On my card I used the Washington Apple DSP, Riding Hood Red Cardstock, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter & Micro Beads.
I had just opened an empty blue punch box, which you can still purchase for $3.95 item #114673. These are the punch boxes that Stampin' Up! used to sell with a stamp set, ink spots and a punch all included inside the blue metal box. Well now they do not sell their punch bundle that way anymore (keeps the cost down) and they have a surplus of these empty boxes. I had ordered a bunch of them the last time they offered them for sell empty (I use them alot in my workshops by putting all my supplies for one project in one box to take with me). Anyway I had just opened one and they still have the plastic in the inside of the box so I used that, cut a piece the size I needed for the eyes and adhered it to the back of the skull face. I used the edges of my dimensionals to make the area to put my Micro Beads in and put my skull face onto of the dimensionals. There you have it a shaker box!!!

Tiffany

Remember this post? Here it is with a picture of my kiddos all decked out in their Halloween costumes. Too cute!!!!

Just thought I would show you some things I changed up. Thanks for looking!!!

November Card of the Month

This card features Big Bold Birthday Stamp Set and ? DSP (see below as to why I am not saying what DSP I used).
To get this look on the cupcake frosting I used my Sponge Daubers and three different ink pads. I dabbed each Sponge Dauber (I used 3 sponge daubers, 1 for each ink color) in the ink pad and sponged them onto the stamp itself. I then huffed the stamp and stamped the image. It gives you this different look. I then added our glitter to just the top of the frosting. Too cute!!!

This card is being spotlighted as my Card of the Month for November!!

And that means that this stamp set "Big Bold Birthday" is being offered at 30% off for the entire month of November on individual orders only.

Big Bold Birthday #109439

But I have an added BONUS for you. If you do order this stamp set from me at 30% and can tell me what DSP I used on this card I will give you 1/2 a pack of that DSP for FREE!!!!
I only used a little bit of it but I am sure you will be able to tell me because all of you are such great Stampin' Up customers!!

Now remember you ONLY get the DSP for FREE if you order this stamp set from me by November 30th.

Enjoy,
Tiffany

My Halloween Kiddos

Here is a picture of my kiddos dressed up in their Halloween costumes. My oldest, Kaitlyn, who would have been happier out with your friends instead of with mom and dad was Frankie's Bride. My middle, Griffen, was an outlaw. My youngest, Jordan, was her first choice EVERY year, a priness. This year she choose Bella from Disney. I think they look great!!!

Faux Silk Card

I did this card for two challenges. First challenge was to use the technique I taught my stamp clubs in September which was faux silk and for the very first SCS Group #2 challenge which was posted by Sara. Her challenge was to use polka dots and ribbon on your card. So I thought I would use this card for both challenges!! For my stamp club I teach them a technique and then the following month they have "homework"which means they have to go home and use that technique on a card, make enough cards for everyone in the club and we then swap with each other at our next meeting. All the members of my stamp clubs have been having so much fun doing their "homework" and we have really built up a stash of great cards to use!!

This card uses the stamp set called Dreams du Jour and the Polka Dot Background stamp, Bravo Burgundy, Mellow Moss and Apricot Appeal Cardstock, Bravo Burgundy 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Sponge dauber, tissue paper and my Watercolor Pencils.

Enjoy,
Tiffany
