Hostess Gift

This is my all time favorite hostess gift. I just love making these and giving them to my hostesses!! This one uses the Bella Blossoms stamp set. I inked it up in So Saffron and then used my Old Olive Marker to color over the So Saffron ink on the stem and leaves. I just LOVE doing this technique!!!
These gifts are made using the plastic magnetic frames you can get from Wal-Mart for around a $1. I just added the sticky notes using our Sticky Strip, added more magnets to the back side to support the extra weight, tied it with a bow and added the pencil. Too Cute AND Easy!!!

Ribbon Share Update

My first ribbon share is now sorted, cut, bagged and ready for delivery. You should be receiving your bag this week if you reserved a spot in my very first ribbon share.
Isn't this bag just the cutest?? After cutting and bundling the ribbon I wanted to come up with a cute package to put it in so I decided to use up some of the Stampin' Up! Gusset bags I had left over after they retired them and made the topper out of The Big Shot. I used the Top Note Bigz Die, Washington Apple DSP, Wide Oval Punch and Only Ovals Stamp set.

Watch for my next Ribbon Share when we will be sharing the brand new 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Exciting News!!!

Guess who called me yesterday when I got home from work? Stampin' Up! That's right Stampin' Up! called and asked me if I would be interested in doing a Teleconference with myself (#1 Rising Star US), Dorothy Seatter(#1 Rising Star Canadian) and Stampin' Up!'s very own Bonnie. I am soooo excited and nervous at the same time!!!
They want to put together this Teleconference for other demos to listen to on Stampin' Up!'s website. We are putting it together on October 29th with a 3-way call between me, Dorothy and Bonnie. Mark said it would be up and running on the website mid November. They also want us to send in a bio and picture of ourselves to put up on the website. Too cool!!!! I don't know what I can share that will help other demos but I am happy to try!!!! Wish me luck and hopefully I won't make a fool out of myself!!!

Founder's Circle Day 3

Here are some pictures from Day #3 at Founder's Circle. Enjoy!!
Before we left for Founder's Circle we were asked if we where going to go on the trip to Kanab to see where all the stamps are made. Of course I jumped at the chance to see this awesome place!!! And let me tell you it was awesome!!!

Inside there were things all done up with Stampin' Up! product. Here Stacie (RS #3) and I are trying to capture a great picture of this mirror done in DSP with us in it!!

While touring this facility we found out that Shelli has her very own apartment inside the building!! It is great!!! They said she will stay there sometimes or opens it up to her family at times. It is all decorated with Shelli's touch everywhere!!

We just had too!!!!!
Here the top 3 Rising Stars just had to jump into Shelli's bathtub and take a picture!!
Myself #1, Stacie #3 & Ruth #2
This rock greets you when you arrive at the facility. Great photo opt!!

After touring the facility they took us to the park where Stampin' Up! provides chopped up rubber that is either messed up or trimmed during the process of making the stamps. It makes great cushion for the playground. It was so awesome to see all this rubber everywhere I just had to take my shoes off and dig my feet in!!!

Karen and I playing with rubber!!!!

We tried to get a full picture of all the Rising Stars before we headed back to our hotel but we could only round up 13 of us (the other two must have gotten back on the buses way too fast).

We took 3 buses on our trip.

Robin and I taking a self portrait.

What an awesome lady!!

This is the hotel we stayed at in Utah. Look at those houses up on top.

After we arrived back from our trip we had some bed candy waiting for us!!!!
I am getting soooooo spoiled!!

Look at this beautiful necklace that was hand made for each of us.

This evening we had dinner on our own so some of us went over to Izzy's that was right next door to our hotel. Great food.
After dinner a bus full of us went to see a play called Up the River at an outside Amphitheater.
This was first for me and I loved it!!!
Stay tuned for the last day of Founder's Circle tomorrow.

Fast forward to the evening for our business share.
Yes, we are ALL in our jammies!!!! We were to meet in the Gathering Room in our jammies, have some snacks, do our organized swap and then listen to fellow ladies share their awesome ideas on how to fun their business.
I learned alot this evening and want to thank everyone that shared their ides!!
