My mom and dad sold their house!! They have lived in this house the longest of any homes they have owned, a record 17 years. Before this house the longest we ever lived in a house was 4 years. We moved around alot while I was growing up because my dad was in the Air Force. So we (me and my sisters) feel like this is our family home and now they sold it and are moving to a tiny tiny town (if you can even call it a town) about 15 minutes away from where they live now. I live in Dubois which is about 15-20 minutes away from Jasper and they live in Jasper now but are moving to Duff (yeh, that is the name!!LOL!!) which will make my visit now 30-35 minute drive. I know it does not sound that bad but when you work and shop in Jasper all week long and could stop by to visit on a whim at anytime it makes a big difference. The other thing is the grandkids are kind of upset about is the awesome pool my parents have and they (the grandkids) love to swim in. My parents bought about 24 acres in Duff and built a lake there and then added a log home last year. It is very very nice there and I am sure we will all love it and make it our home away from our home in time. Right now we are mourning our loss!!! (I'm sure it will pass soon!!LOL!!)
